JOHN S. KLOPP
Chief Executive Officer, Portfolio Manager
John S. Klopp offers 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He is one of the founding members of Klopp Investment Management. Previously he worked at First Fiduciary Investment Counsel in Portfolio Management, Asset Allocation, Research, Trading and Compliance. John began his career at Dean Witter Reynolds’ in 1986 at their Corporate Headquarters in New York City, where he was responsible for inter Broker-Dealer transactions in the Municipal Bond Trading department. He later worked in the Inter-Capital Division which contains the Investment Management arm of Dean Witter Reynolds. John is an independent board member of Innovest Global Inc. (IVST), a growing OTC company headquartered in Chesterland, Ohio. He is also a board member of the Rose-Mary of Cleveland a 97-year old institution which assists children and adults with special needs. John has a B.A. in History from Ohio Wesleyan and obtained his MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
WALTER J. MANNS JR.
Portfolio Manager
Walter J Manns Jr. joined Klopp Investment Management LLC as Portfolio Manager in November 2016. Mr. Manns is the Portfolio Manager for the Concentrated Total Return Portfolio and the Co - Portfolio Manager for the Multi Strategic Equity Blend Portfolio. In addition, he designs and manages personally tailored Asset Allocation Fixed, Equity and Balanced Portfolios for High Net Worth Individuals and Families, Trusts, and Retirement accounts. Mr. Manns has over 30 years of experience working in the financial markets as Registered Financial Advisor and originally created a concentrated, top down bottom up approach to managing equities in 1994. Past affiliations include both Regional and National Brokerage firms at the retail level. He also trained and licensed in Life Insurance, and Real Estate. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a B.S. in Psychology, with a concentration on business. Manns has worked on the Cleveland westside community coaching high school tennis and organizing summer tennis programs, and he has organized Eco-Walks in the Cleveland Metro Parks to help foster an appreciation for the local ecology and environment.
CECILIA GIRALDO
Chief Financial Officer
Cecilia Giraldo joined Klopp Investment Management in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. She oversees all financial management matters and record-keeping. She directly assists the Chief Executive Officer on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to financial planning, budget management, cost–benefit analysis, and forecasting. Cecilia brings to Klopp Investment Management a strong accounting background and experience. Prior to joining Klopp Investment Management, she worked at Pyramyd Air Ltd for over 16 years where she held various positions including Accounting Manager & Assistant Controller. Cecilia is a native of Colombia, she graduated from Universidad Libre in Cali – Colombia with a B.A in Accounting. Cecilia is bilingual in English & Spanish.
